Hallo guys, welcome back to my blog.  In the second blog, i will explain naming tradition from East Sumatera expecially my hometown "Padang" My father originally come from Padang, but my mother originally come from Cianjur or Sundanese. In Padang's culture, if you want to married, a man will be given new name from the clan his/her family. For example in my family. When my parent married, my father given new name from his family clan, but this name only for title or recognition that my mother's married and her official entrance into the family. The title not used in everyday life.  And vice versa, if the woman comes from Padang the man still given title from her family clan. All the title is same, it not used in everyday life. It is used when their married. Hallo guys, welcome to my blog. Before i introduce my name i would like to tell you about this picture. Many people in the world feel not proud with her/his name. For example in the picture, they are not proud with their name, and maybe their ilfeel with her name. Do you feel same with this article? My name is PUTI SALWA SABILASATI. Many people call me puti or puput or uput. I would like to tell you the means or the background of my name. The first name 'PUTI' come from East Sumatera, gived by my father. Because my father come from Padang, East Sumatera. Almost all the girls in my family wear the name of Puti. Its be like clan. 'SALWA' come from arabic name, its means "pelipur lara" wkwk i dont know its true or false. In the last is 'SABILASATI', the name also gived by father, he said that its real name from East Sumatera and for me its the unique name, why?  Because its real homemade by my father wkwk.
